Poem #13

Jun 11
1 min read

There’s always been

A space in the palm of my hand

For your hand

For your heart

Even when we’re apart

There’s a place

In a home

We both share

Even when you’re not there

Do you know?

You’re my yellow

Dreaming in the late nights

3 AM

The moon, like a ray, coming in through the window

And I dream of a love only you and I could know

To the ends of the earth

It’ll all be worth it

In the bed we made

And the home we started

Do you know?

You’re my yellow

You’re the moment where the ocean meets the sky

Never will I ever ask why

Love came so easy

No blueprint

No roadmap

No dictionary

To lead us

But we found us

We found us

We found us
